caught them in temagamin in canada last year...don't think they wil hurt the lakers...thats what we mainly caught..along with whitefish..not sure about smb ..didn't catch any thru the ice.  The locals called them Ling and they were very good.

We used to get a lot of big Ling out of Bull Lake in Wyo when I was a kid, I remember my dad hanging them from the floor joists in the basement to skin them. Once you get past the way they look, they are one of the best eating fish around.
