I have not fished cranberry in the winter but we have caught really big pike in the summer. I would recommend a try here on the ice!

Edges took a beating yesterday. Chat edges are shot but u can get out on it. About to head out to a smaller lake bringing a plank

Ice is fine down here. Shoreline is a little sketchy. Couple small pike so far, one 31".

Yeah but the bite was hot for a brief window so we didn't mess around taking awesome pics.. Here they are from heaviest to lightest, I did not get a pic of one 7-8 pounder.

yeah with the way the weather has been all week with the warm up and the rain I wouldn't trust it . I live 7 minutes from black lake and I haven't gone because I just don't trust it . this coming week is calling for cold days and nights so that should help it out for next weekend.

Went out for the night bite today. Got two keeper eyes an lost a short on my transducer. Ice was a good 4-5" of black 1-2 of trash on top.

took a 10 minute ride in the truck to check out rollway and another spot , about 20 people out on the point at rollway , 10 at another spot. I didn't get out of the truck to check the ice thickness , but the access at the second entrance at rollway is quite wet !!

Ice is going fast up here. Safe ice yesterday morning is now 2 inches of junk. Went fore a swim tring to get out on it.
