Been running a live sucker in da stabbin cabin & shiners on tipups since dawn & notta. Had one decent walleye cruise by & didn't look twice at da bait.
Grabbiin lunch & hunkering down till dark.

Well any luck? Slow day for me, landed 10 eyes about 10 inches long and called it quits after they stopped chasing for an hour

Was talking down the shack at dusk & finally got a flag. Da line pulled like a hammer handle before it spit da hook.
This is the 2nd lake this week where weed beds used to be plentiful & now are reduced to milt due to vegetation control by hoa's.  It's on a DNR launch, anyone else finding em gone ?

Theres a few lakes by me like that, also have awful algae blooms in summer because of lack of weeds
