Head straight across the pond from the boat ramp and then head South (towards Missoula) about 60 - 80 yards. I drilled holes along the Bull Rushes (Highway side) about 10-15 yards off the shore. Water was about 10-14' deep and all the holes had some fish in them. I'd just stick with a small Swedish Pimple with maggots and the peanuts should be able to watch bobbers wiggle all day long. Good Luck :)

Ice fished it bout 4 weeks ago for about 3 hrs.. didnt see any other tracks on the pond....there was about 4 inches at the time.  Pulled out about 30 pumpkinseed, 6 perch, and about 8 bass.  Three of those bass were about 16 inchers. Non-stop action, great time.

Where were you fishing when you caught the bass? How deep of water? What were you using? My son wants to catch some bass through the ice this year.

Oldschooleben and I put in an all day fish at Frenchtown today. We fished in several spots, with the most luck along the interstate. We saw lots of fish, and iced a bunch! Mrs. PyroZuki came over after work and iced 3 little fish with us.

Oldschoolben's NICE large mouth bass

My LITTLE red ear

Oldschoolben iced the largest perch of the day, 9" or so!

Mrs. PyroZuki's little perch!!!

It was a great day for all!!!
We caught red ears, perch and bass, nothin else. We threw EVERYTHING back, so your kids should have fun like we did!!!

Anybody have any secrets on catching Bass at the Pond or is it just hit or miss with all those little perch and pumpkins? I was out Monday and Wednesday afternoon this week. Non stop bites, but nothing of size at all. One Bass total in two days. Thoughts? ???

Me and a buddy went out the other day and it seemed to be hit and miss.  We were in about 15 feet of water and we would hook a bass in between surges of pumkinseed and perch.  We probably caught 8 bass and nonstop pumkinseed and perch.  I would say just keep at it and sooner or later youre gonna hook a bass.
