the price for spearing dekoys, ( live), yikes

 I posted this on MS, so if you read , disregard. I went to bait store yesterday, to buy a big spearing sucker, as I have never used one, and wanted to try. The kid said, we don't have any, and you don't want them. He told me his supplier, told him , due to shortage, the suppliers cost would be $ 15 per fish!!! I told him , put me down for a dozen. WTH!! anybody run into this?

$2.14 each here in West Central Minnesota... And that includes tax.

This time of year you wont find them in a ton of bait stores, but from november to february, the price is around that $2 mark.
