Congrats on the PB pike and nice job releasing them for another day. You can always decide to have a fiberglass mount made for the pike at the end of the season.

aren't the fiberglass replicas supposed to be higher quality too? i want to get one for a 10 pound largemouth i caught in florida a few years ago.

Not sure of the cost of getting a replica, but they look just as good if not better than a skin mount and they don't lose their coloration over the years like skin mounts do. From what I have seen and been told by others, Northeast Taxidermy in CT does great work with fiberglass mounts.

Not too bad... Caught a few big bass this season but only one 'relatively' small Pike at 6.2. I will attempt to post some pics later, Mona Lisa isn't very cooperative from my phone.
