crappie lights?

have any of you crappieslayers ever used the green submersable lights  how deep do you put the light ??

lanterns are the best dont wate your time with the geen lights

if your talking summer time then id say anywhere froma a couple inches to a couple feet down.  i dont know if they work as well in winter, im sure they would but there's definatly a bit more work involved.  id try about 4-5 feet off bottem now.  but who knows all you can do is try

I have used them.Sometimes they work-sometimes they don't.My theory is-if what you are doing isn't working then try something else.I always put them just under the ice.

They are not legal in the state on Minnesota. I'm not sure about the other states.
