Another great bass day at Bantam Lake

Lost count on the smallies. 14" 15" 17" on jigging rod!  What fun! First ever bullhead (15") thru the ice, 2 largemouth 16" ,18 " , 2 pike and a couple of panfish.

Great trip mungo.  Even better when those quality fish are caught on a jigging rod...they bend it a little more than a perch!

You could get on just about anywere on Sat. There was still 8 to 10 inches of good ice and another 6 to 8 inches of cheesy ice/shush. I've never used so much fuel drilling holes! Ice boats were on Friday all over the entire lake. Quads all over the ice on Sat. Could get iffy fast unless we get more freezing weather. I plan to go Monday I will update.

Actually I drop a bottle cap down the hole once in awhile to check the sensitivity setting on my M68. Never had a fish go after one tho!
