Hot Trout Bite

Hit a hot bite this morning. Landed 15 total, 10 of them between 7:00 and 8:15 am. Rainbow was about 21”, Brown was 18”, rest in the 12-14” range. Emerald shiners just under the ice  :tipup:

I have a family friend with a several acre  deep pond who lets me ice fish it once a year during early ice. Pond is spring fed and has a good population of crayfish and fathead minnows. We keep a couple big boys for the smoker, this year did not disappoint.
