Hey everyone I'm new to the site and new to ice fishing. I'm so new to ice fishing that I've never been on the ice. I'm from Sligo,Pa and I hope to be on the ice some time this week for the first time. So everyone wish me luck on my first time on the ice.

So I survived my first trip on the ice. Guess what I'm hooked we fished the bay in Erie and we hammered the gills and dink perch all day. It was the most fish I ever caught in one day. I thought it would be a lot slower than what it was. My cousins fiancé took me on Thursday and let me use his shanty to stay out of the wind. Guess what I gotta buy one of them now LOL. He made me fish for a couple hours in the morning without a flasher. He did however let me use one in the afternoon (he had his and his dads with him). Guess what I gotta get me one of those also LOL. My fish catching quadrupled after he let me use the flasher. Needless to say I have a lot of money to spend to get all the new toys. I cant wait to get back on the ice again but with the up coming weather I don't know when that will be. Thanks for all the welcomes. Good Luck and stay safe out there.
