I went out Sunday from 630 til 12 and the driving was good fishing was slow. 4 guys only 5 fish 3 eaters 1 24" released and a lil tiny Wally released. We were out at the pressure ridge by the mouth. I'm sure the most popular question is gonna be how's the ice conditions? And I'm sure it's just getting worse if you have a sled or a quad I'd bring it or you'll probably be walking out. Overnight lows aren't even low so good luck to whoever makes it out this weekend unfortunately I'm not gonna be able to goin outta town. Gonna be heart broken if my last trip was Sunday.

We drove on. The trail was rough and in some spots it was water covered but there was little to no slush that we noticed.

Went out from balsam 2 miles north to take down my shack, very little snow left , and water everywhere. Thinking
time to keep trucks off ice and maybe quads soon. Mother nature changing our ice conditions very fast. Be smart
guys, season ending sooner than ever

Was out with the sled on Sunday from 10 till noon on the east side. Fish were very active. Lots of lookers, caught 4 nice keepers, let a couple bigger ones go and was home for lunch before the trails disintegrated. Unfortunately likely the last of what was a very good season.
