I used to fish Broad Creek, MD years ago for crappie  & just wonder if anyone here knows how it is for ice fishing last few years??

Hi Loggy,
I used to fish BC back in the day. I went there last year to have a look and found bad ice.  Bottom line...I'll fish there if good conditions exist. Used to be a decent crappie bite,  but that was decades ago...a little tougher now.

Flying Frenchman:  Thanks.  I hope to get there this season assuming we get some good ice.  i know some guys that get some decent crappie open water fishing down around the big bend in the 20' water areas.

Yeah, I tried last year...dangerous ice...I tried to get out there a few times last year but it wasn't worth going for a swim...
