3rd Pull, Auger started......1st Post

Hi all,
First post here, though have ice fished for 40 years.  Still not real good at it.
Mostly trout & walleye lakes & reservoirs in MT, ND, Sask.

Fired up my 28 year old Jiffy today after sitting over the summer & it started on 3rd pull..... so is that a good sign for a good season?

Welcome. Others could benefit from your good example of a pre-season auger check at home. I appreciate it. Early ice, 20 pulls, dull blades, and blue haze seem to go hand in hand around Helena.
