I called yesterday was informed that ice was 14 inches thick with snow cover in kermlin. Last year there were 97 entries so far this year we have 214 entered. Looks like it will be a good year. Weather during the tournament is to be light snow both days and in lower 30's Saturday and high 30"s sunday. I'll be there to defend my title. This was my first all a round 2 day win last year on Fresnos first Annual Derby. May the luck be there this year. Fish are hanging deeper then last year in 40 plus feet. Looks like hatch is not in full swing yet.
