What do u guys wear for boots I've just been wearing my steel toes :o you can imagine how that's going
-
Muck boot arctic pros. Comfy warm and dry!
-
Muckboots, wetlands . Only boots u need
-
Muck Arctic pro's. I've also used Arctic sports and did just fine. Can't go wrong either way!
-
Bata Black US Extreme Cold Boots aka Mickey Mouse boots.
-
Arctic Mucks. I've had mine for 3 years now and don't have any major concerns. They keep your feet dry and warm.
-
Mucks. Warm, comfortable, and water proof.
-
Yup, Mucks for sure. I'm a big fan of the Wetlands. Been wearing Mucks since 2008. My dad has the Arctics, he loves them.
-
I have a pair of Lacrosse and a pair of Muck.. I like the Lacrosse overall better...

Muck Artic Pros
-
Sorel Glacier boots, warmest boots I have ever owned and believe me I have been thru at least a dozen. I even got a pair for my girlfriend so she could stay warm she said the same thing never cold feet again. I have been out fishing in -18 degree weather still had warm toes.
-
If i were to buy a pair of boots just for ice fishing they would be the mucks but i cant afford to do that. I buy my hunting boots with the mindset that they will be used for all of my outdoor activities including icefishing. I picked some danner pronhorns up 3 yrs ago, im still wearing them after dragging 18 deer, shooting over 60 squirrels, hiking hundreds of miles and ice fishing the past 3 seasons. If its a sloppy slushy mess out there i simply wear my chest waders. Mucks are awesome just not for me.
-
Just got the muck arctic pro. Very nice but also have the muck master and have hunted and walked miles no problem
-
I need to try on a pair of the Muck boots, I have a hard time believing a rubber boot is going to keep you warm. I have a pair of Sorel's that are pretty old and my feet are getting cold when on the ice for extended periods.
-
Hafta look into the arctic pros thank you for the feedback gentleman keep em tight !
-
LACROSS
-
I second arctic pro mucks!
-
Baffin apex pricey but u cant put a price on warm dry feet
-
Muck arctic and Mickey boots
-
i got a new pair of Muck Arctic sports and they are really comfy and warm. better than my original lacrosse boots..... those arnt insulated
-
I dig the Mickeys. Im really surprised that more people don't...
-
Cabelas Predator Extreme. The most warm and waterproof boot I've ever owned.
-
Ranger Boots: Men's Green Insulated Waterproof Rubber good to -80
-
Lacrosse iceman boots.
-
I got a pair of Korkers with the quick change soles. One pair of soles have carbide studs. They are just as warm as my lacrosse ice man boots and very good traction on ice.
-
Mucks with Neo covers I could go without socks
-
Lacrosse Aerohead. Warm, dry, comfortable.
-
Muckboots, wetlands . Only boots u need
x's 2. Add some wool socks and you are warm and dry. ;D ;D
-
I normally wear Mickey mouse boots, very heavy buy very warm. Just got pair of klim boots going to try them out. They are Lots lighter than the mickeys just not sure how warm they will keep my feet.
-

Believe it!!! Arctic Sports
-
Cabelas predator extreme water proof and breathable and very warm.muck boots (at least te pair i had)do not breath and make my feet sweat like crazy and get cold
-
Muck Artic Sport...if you like to wear thick socks and liners I suggest 1 size up ..all about the wiggle room .
-
Not to belabor a point, but you can't beat Muck boots for comfort. I've been wearing them for about 8 years now. I literally wear them every day for work during the winter, from October through April. I've walked miles in them.
If you don't think Mucks are comfortable, you've got messed up feet!!!
-
To me the muck boots soles are to stiff and don't bend when I walk tried them a few years ago for hunting maybe would be alright for fishing. I am old school I will stick with my org. lacrosse 800 gram burley also mickey mouse boots for extreme cold sits and fishing. There is a place Bradley's military that has the black and white mickey mouse boots the are located on rt 11 phone # is 315-629-4736 or 1-800-503-4954 they are usually pretty reasonable.
-
I picked up a pair of Baffin Titans to replace my worn out Sorels.... wow are they warm ( -175) and comfortable... they have a waffle footbed that wicks away any moisture, a little heavier than the old sorels ...... but at $100 , a great choice ...... gotta get one size larger due to thick insulation that forms to your feet
-
I have a pair of muck arctic pro for 2 years just worn for ice fishing and a couple times very cold days of hunting and they are splitting on the side of the foot already. My hunting buddy has same boot but in camo for hunting and his are doing the same. For the price I thought they would last a lot longer. Just bought my wife baffin impacts and she is always cold but this weekend said her feet never got cold sun up to sun down.
-
Mickey boots but would like Baffin if I could afford them
-
Muck Arctic work for me. They do have stiff soles as mentioned above and can be very tricky on glare ice without spikes on.
Don't underestimate the importance of a good pair of Merino Wool socks. I bought a pair of firstlite socks and they work extremely well at wicking away moisture.
-
Sorel Glaciers
-
Mickys are by far the warmest but extremely heavy. I usually wear my muck boots when I am chasing tip downs and mickeys when watching flags
-
Got the Baffins last year at half price. They are really nice. Wait until they have sales.
-
Muck arctic pros with katoohlas very warm and much easier to walk in than pack boots.
-
artic pro mucks
-
I have the Arctic Pro's and like them for how I fish. I fish from a Hub or a Shanty so I do not need extreme low temp boots. When it gets down to single digits my feet start getting cold even with 2 pair of merino wool socks (1thin and 1thick) so I through in a pair of toe warmers. I have fished in -10/-15 deg. weather with them and was OK with the toe warmers. I like them for active fishing, in and out of a heated shelter. If I was doing a lot of sitting I would go with something heavier.
This post is a great one on boots that I believe went on for 4 years and 12 pages. Some of the info is dated but most is not.

I have used "Mickeys" in the past and found them to be very heavy but warm and dry. I have been using the Muck Arctic Pros for the last 2 years and the only way my feet have gotten wet is because of sweat. They work great.
-
The Baffin Titans are the warmest boot I've ever worn and very comfortable.
-
I can't tolerate walking around in Mucks all day. I only break them out when I know I'm going to have to fish in standing water.
I prefer a set of studded Neos worn over my sneakers. My brother wears a pair of slippers inside his.
Stop torturing yourselves and look up Neos Overshoes.
-
Muck arctic pros work for me. I also have heated insoles for the real cold days
-
I've been wearing the brown 15" Viking insulated boots for years. Durable slip-ons and cold feet are a non issue.
-
I bought a pair of LL Bean mid height Snow Sneakers. I use them all season hunting and I've been wearing them on the ice all season. I absolutely love them. Spent all day on the ice Saturday (low of 0, high of 15) and my feet never got cold. They're low height and very comfortable. I can kick slush around all day and my feet stay nice and dry.
-
Used to be a fan of mucks not so much any more. Seems the price keeps going up and the Chinese keep making them cheaper! :-\
-
Kennetrek pac boots. Im sold. Don't think ill need another pair of boots for a long time
-
Muck Arctic pros, just scored a set on ebay for $115 shipped. Amazingly warm and comfortable, no laces and material to ice up.
-
I have baffin titans and they are the warmest boots for 100$ out there

Baffin apex pricey but u cant put a price on warm dry feet
I have a pair of baffins, warm and light.I also have Rocky bear claws, which are a good all around boot.
Some good merino wool socks, and air activated toe warmers can go a long way too.
-
I wear a old pair of air jordons and I think you guys are all whimps
-

I thought the same. The Arctic Pro's made me a believer.

Good one Trapper
-
Baffin apex , too warm on a lot of days then I wear rocky blizzard pros. On real cold nites in ct or when I go north the apex the way to go. Only things that have kept feet warm since I had mild frostbite as a teen.
-
I thought I wanted a pair of Arctic Mucks after all the reviews, but they would not go on my feet without going up a couple sizes.
I have a pair of Lacrosse 1200 Burly that I wear when the slush is extremely deep, they are great, just don't like wearing a tall boot all day.
I also have a pair of Lacrosse Arctic Kings that are awesome. If I was being picky, the only down side is the weight of the boot.
I also have a pair of those LLBean Snow Sneakers that are the most comfortable things I have ever worn for hiking and snowshoeing. I never thought about using them for ice fishing, but I am going to throw my Neos on them and give them a try. I like to move a lot, and those things are like walking on air.
-
Love my muck arctic sports. A little tip which works for any boot really...put cornstarch or foot powder in them before heading out for the day and the natural moisture build upis absorbed by it eliminating the clammy foot feeling and I feel it helps keep your feet much warmer
-
Thanks for the tip. My feet sweat terrible in them and I find myself taking them off once I get set up to get my feet warm back up. Other than that they're waterproof to the top when they do a good job. Mine are 8 years old
-
I wear the cut off boots from neoprene waders that got too bad to fix........i have been called cheap before but i disagree!!

Baffin Hunters! Bout 20 years old and STILL keeping my feet warm and dry.

Neo Ice Stabilizer's !!!!! They are an over boot with built in ice cleats . they are awesome
-
Muck arctic pro if it's wet on the ice otherwise Sorel glazier
-
I where whatever boots I can get my feet into - i like um warm - gots a set of county pride boots from a brother in law which work nice.
-
My Muck arctic sports fell apart, the whole sole came off one boot, the other is working on doing the same.
-
Lacrosse Aerohead. Warm, dry, comfortable.
Yeah I agree I used to use mucks Lacrosse blow them out of the water in my opinion!
-

I wear mine as hip boots after the crotch wore out.
-
Baffin with katoola
-
Baffin Titan's paired with Arctic Spurs (the ones with the 4 triangular points and rubber tubing to strap to the boot). Warm, cushy comfort with the boots along with solid footing on glare ice. Great combo that is warm and safe.
