Stopping line ice up with braided line

Are there any tricks to stop ice from building up on braided line?

Best cure I have found is to switch to Tuff Line Duracast.
It is a coated braid that sheds water quite nicely.
I'm on my second winter with it now and it is still performing well.

Viynl coated?  I hate ice buildup on tip ups. Have that problem all the time, so I get lazy about setting tip ups up.

Yes it's some kind of vinyl/plastic coating.
Because of the coating it has more line memory but it's not as bad as most flourocarbon or mono lines.
