Has anyone got experience with the Arctic armor Blue-Light suit?
I have the red bibs and work well. Lately though, i use my portable shack more and more even on small ponds. The red bibs are very warm when pulling and sitting in the sled. Seen they now have a (blue) light suit that would work well if not to light. Anyone have a light suit?

Have not heard of Blue-Light suit. Do you have link or pic??
I've had the blue/black suit for 4 - 5 years now. It is lighter than the red extreme suit w/ plenty of room underneath to layer accordingly. Windproof also.

Ya, my bad, i meant the blue and black suit.
does it take much layering to keep warm in cold temps?
How about flotation? Think one layer of insulation is enough to keep you afloat?

Under the bibs I wear Under Armor Cold Gear Infrared thermals & Under Armor Cold Gear Storm pants.
Under the jacket I wear Under Armor Cold Gear Infrared long sleeve & a lined Carhartt zip up hoodie.
If temp is below zero I'll throw a Under Armor Cold Gear Storm hoodie on under the Carhartt.
No floatation in my suit. It's just lined, windproof & waterproof. I think it's called the "Edge".
I believe most of the floatation suits made these days are designed to keep you afloat for 2 hours.

would be best to not spend with that brand ever! their suits are very cold and do not breath. they do not stand behind their products, at all, ever.
look into striker brand. they do stand behind their products and are much better in every way.

I've had my blue and black for quite a few years now. I do find that I need to layer up pretty good. I thought wearing sweat pants would be enough. But sitting outside the other day my derriere was a wee but cold. Guess I should invest in some bar layer clothing. One think I don't like is the material inside the hood. If you put the hood up while wearing a touque it will most likely slide off your head. It acts like velcro. A slippery material would have been better.

Maybe I'll be lucky & never need to contact them. Besides, I thought IceGator had the worst customer service out there - LOL.

I just purchased the blue ice armor jacket and bibs and have been out three times. I really like the gear, and I purchased the lighter gear specifically so I can layer up as needed.
Things I like:
adjustable inseam (I'm short)
Fit, it's loose where it needs to be
Windproof, I rode my sled at 70mph and didn't feel anything
Good amount of pockets
Things I don't like:
Fleece lining in pants. Better if it was quilted for easier on/off
Pockets with flaps only have one small piece of Velcro.
Elastic/velcro gators in pants legs are a pain.
