Any one own on of the "E-Drill Nylon Hand Auger Kit" ? (link below)I bought this rig few weeks back and it didn't come with the drill cradle/handle adaptor, only the handle which somehow now moves freely up and down the auger shaft and will fall off when drill isn't attached. Defeats the purpose of it stopping the auger from falling in the hole.

Might return the unit all together. It cuts ice but the 8" is just such a draw on battery life and if it broke first time out after 6-ish holes it doesn't seem too promising.  You have one i assume? thoughts? -James

I had that auger drill unit(bottom half) ..its a great drill unit..sounds like you have it paired with an inferior drill. Wrong drill and battery will equal poor performance. As for the snap rings skip on down to a local parts store and pick them up.
