There is now a $25 free coupon for Gander floating around the interwebz that expires on 9/30.  I hear it's legit too.   I might try it out today.   I don't have link sorry.   Not exactly sure what the tactic is that Gander is trying to pull here lately.  First $10, then $20, and now $25.  Sure it's getting people into the store but when you give out a coupon that essentially is free money with no enforced or hard restrictions, it doesn't seem like a good business plan. One guy i spoke with was in there about 10 times this past weekend.  That's $200 in free stuff.

Called em up and they said the $25 one with the numbers CC8858 is a fake, which they confirmed with corporate. However, there is a $10 one that expires tomorrow and a different $10 one that expires December 10th (I believe that was the date he said). Can’t find the December one unfortunately.

They did scan it and said there was glitch it needs to be entered manually, so she did.   Voila.

Based on there being no active link, I'm sure they could easily deny it since it would pretty easy to fake one.   Your mileage may vary with this one.

For anyone near the southern tier of NY... Hesselson's in Elmira Heights is having their annual tent sale through Sunday. They have some killer deals on cold weather gear, hunting apparel, boots, and tons of other outdoor related items. I bought a pair of Arctix bibs and an Arctix Jacket for $60 apiece (they normally retail for $150 apiece). They are an off brand but seem to be well made, comfortable, and warm. I also picked up 4 dozen duck decoy weights (normally $18 per dozen) for $4 total. It's definitely worth the trip if you're close.
