Title: dead sticking crappie
Post by: Bassmaster16 on Jan 20, 2017, 05:44 PM
i've recently been running two lines out crappie fishing lately. one i jig with and the other a jawjacker. i've started to have a few of my fatheads die and was wondering if anyone has had luck deadsticking dead minnows for crappie? or do they like them alive. i've caught a couple on tip ups before when using dead bait for pike so i dont see why a deadstick rig wouldn't work. was wondering if anyone does this.

I don't recall ever catching Crappie on a dead minnow. If I reel up and it's dead, I change bait.

Two lines, one is always a deadstick rig.
