Guys,

    Ok,  look at my picture to the left.  How do I clean it up?  The many different shades of green make it a tough pic on the net anyway and the shrink job is killing it.

You need to resize your avatar pic, Keep it square, make the length and height equal, ideally 1x1 inch will work well.

Also try cropping your image a bit smaller and in square dimensions, then resize it to 120 pixels by 120 pixels. Some images just can't be shrunk that small and still look goodl.

Avavtar is your little pic by your name, the one you are trying to modify. The reason why your pic is distorted, is probably because it is not square (meaning that the height and length are not of equal size) Your avatar is displayed in a square dimension, so if the pic is not square it gets stetched or squished, depending its size. Ideally a 1x1 inch pic will display better.
