Our ice isn't exactly great but thought I would post this here for any vets or active duty or first responders. 

If you are an DOD ID card holder this is at a DOD recreation center so there might actually be lodging available on the shore.

Massachusetts gets North Carolina winters now, just cold and rainy enough to blow but not cold enough for winter activities.  I have a list of saved water front airbnb in Maine sorted by pike and salmon/togue/trout.  Any cover on Sabattus yet?

From what I hear not really since that is kind of far away from me.  The southern and central Maine lakes near the coast are still open or unsafe.  I used to live near Worcester so know what you mean by bad conditions.  The lakes north of Bangor and east and inland are doing better.  The lake I live on had 5 to 6 inches of ice until the last storm but the ice is still intact so with a cold spell we will be back in business.

I read the Maine page so I can remember what it was like to ice fish, you are on or near pushaw if I remember

Correct.  32 Feet away to be exact.
