By the way, I knew the owners of this pond in the 70s and used to fish it a lot. Always 5-6 inches by Christmas. Best fishing I ever had. Trees grew up in the beaver dam and blew down in a storm, emptying the pond.

Just down the road from our camp, not sure what he was thinking.
Checked the ice at DAR just a thin coating.
Was hoping to get out before years end, not very likely.
