 Ice is always on this ol buzzards mind but in the meantime there is plenty of fishing to do , time to start thinking about perch and ease up on the eyes until late fall 😉

Was $240 off on Walmart.  Pulled the trigger after winning some money in fantasy baseball.  Can't wait for the cold weather (although its 80+ today).

dont wanna think too much about it. Going in for shoulder surgery next month so dont know how good Ill be. Sucks after last year never got out and won a full set of traps back in the spring so who knows if Ill be able to test them out.

long range forecast calls for a warmer than normal winter and more than normal snowfall. hope we get a good hard freeze on the eastern side before the snow comes. Last year, we got all rain and 11" of snow with warm temps. 3-4 inches of ice lasted 4 days here. Smelt camps in maine got about a week on the ice

Lots of good black ice on small ponds around me.  If there wasn't rain/warm spell coming I think we could get one some ice locally this weekend.  I'd be debating a NY run if they didn't get a boat load of snow on top of limited ice.

Yeah glad it held off till I got out of Oswego county.  35 minutes from where we stayed got like 40" of snow.
