Title: Shadow Lake (Glover)
Post by: thefishingweatherman on Mar 02, 2018, 07:45 PM
Anyone been over to Shadow Lake in Glover recently? Since the ice on Champ is falling apart quickly, I am thinking of trying out Shadow tomorrow. I know there's nice rainbows in there, but not sure how common they are. Also heard that there are lakers, and might try jigging up a few there. I read they used to stock salmon there a long time ago, but I have never heard of anyone pulling one out of there. Any info appreciated!

That place is dead. They do catch rainbows close to shore there, and the average 21" laker. Nothing special there. If you're traveling any little bit to get up there to fish you might as well go to caspian or Chrystal.

That sounds about right. Figured it is kind of like "No Fish Nelson" - nice fish, but not many of them. Given the long drive for me, will probably head to Caspian instead. Thanks!
