These gills were biting so light. It was like they were breathing on the bait. My partner did ok but maybe only 1/2 as well. He had no electronics and his poles weren't nearly as sensitive as the snitch rod. Small chrome slender spoon tipped with waxie with single hook. These gills had to be teased into biting. Got a lot of dead reds but no sale. Agonizing slooooooow lift convinced them.
Also like the job my Helix 7 is doing. Just as responsive as any flasher. Over the years have owned them all.
