Ice conditions to get the kids out

Has anyone fished, or know the ice conditions on kingston lake or on way? Want to get the kids out local on saturday. I've been fishing north all season, so don't really know how the ice is locally to me. I will check for myself, but just trying to get an idea. Thanks guys.
