Commercial smitty sled

Anything on the market using plastics? Not looking to cut wood or skis.
I'd think a universal fit smitty using high impact poly would garner a huuge market...

Eskimo makes one.  I think it costs about $600.  Took my interest away.

I saw $699, even!!  I'm with Big-Brother.  Kind of a proud man thing to build your own, I wouldn't hire some-one to back up my trailer or process my deer for me, either.

I built one this year also.  Used ski's I got free from a friends father, the 2x8 risers and 2x4 cross pieces, the lag bolts I used as pins and all the screws that held it together were all stuff I scrounged from the shop.  Total cost, $16, for two motorcycle tie downs and eye bolts to hold the sled to the frame.

I built my own as well. Cost all of $15.00, is light, and of a modular design so I can take it apart to fit in the Jimmy. I used aluminum and 1" PVC. Good Fishing!

I built one this year also. Too much snow for my ATV. I found some used skis at a Thrift shop for a buck ninety nine. I had wood left from building a couple decks. It works great.
Thanks Smitty

$600!? More over-priced premium "ice equipment"... You'd think HT or Frabill could crank out a cheap version w/ hyfax runners...
