« on: Dec 25, 2005, 12:59 PM »
This is going to sound dumb but can any one tell me a website or themselves whats the best way to filet pike, walleye ,and perch and make them boneless. I just started fishing again from when I was a kid at home and mom and dad always did the work and we never filleted them just scraped scales off and ate them like that . Problem being all the dang bones so if any one can give me a easy 1,2,3 step on how to fileta fish bone less that would be great,or a website.I tried a pike today and buthchered the poor bugger . Tks

Hey fishinbuddy!

Check out this http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?topic=14855.0.

I don't know if the link worked but look under the tips section in  Northern Pike and a posting by Grump on Mar 04/05.
