I know this is a ice fishing website but sometimes its good to hear a fish tale anyway. For any of you who fish for the whitefish on bear lake it looks like they are in the shallows and starting to spawn. Fished Bear lake 11-24 in my boat, the weather was cloudy but not much wind. Jigged Rockpile at 60ft and got a few cuts, did see whitefish. Went to cisco and did see a school of whitefish but kept fishing for macs and cuts. I would say the whitefish are there but I didn't fish for them. Maybe if I get some time I will try em.... The lake wont freeze until January if at all, it only freezes once every few years.
