does anybody here ice fish winding hills park in Montgomery i would think the smaller lake has some descent ice on it what do u guys think?

Have tried several small ponds and lakes around orange and ulster and only found 3" on one small 8 acre pond other than that only 1to 2 inches and with heavy rain coming tonight good bye ice hopefully end of week and weekend get things locked back up

small pond in my neighborhood had about 1-2 inches yesterday. Stepped out two feet from shore and started to hear a crack and got off fast.

hey guys from what ive seen all over orange county we have atleast a 1 week wait at the minimum...sullivan county had alot of lakes with 2-3 inches last week so id keep my eyes set on those for a starting point. Would hate to hear a story from someone goin in down here

Definitely the Highland derby (if there is a derby!!) Report from Yulan, as of yesterday the small lake by Johnny's house is NOT SAFE YET !! Should be snowing up there tonight w/ low temps. Maybe by next week???
