OOOOooooooo - shiney!

(Really, I just like the Suffix green and orange.  Those work pretty good?  I'm really liking the green for some reason - I may need to get some of that)

Alright

So as a total rookie to the sport can you educate me about the lines

I was under the impression that the lines should be invisible OR are you tying an invisible leader to the lines (if so can you put up a picture)

Also is the colour just for our eyes or do they improve your performance?

Sorry I am so new to this, I hate to admist this but I have been using the line that my reels came with (I know I feel shame)

Hi-vis lines are seen better against the glare of snow or in the dim light of a shelter. A clear fluoro leader 3' or so between lure & braid makes for a stealthy presentation.  I use uni to uni knot for connection...

yes I tie on leaders, minimum 2ft in length and as much as 4-5ft. I use tiny swivels

I would guess each line would be good in different lighting.

Nice collection.
