6.6 pound bass MA

Got out today after school. Got to the lake that we caught the big bass in on sunday. Got all 10 tip ups in, and about 30-40 mins later we get a flag. Go over, set the hook, andthe fight is on! Got it to the hole, and my dad goes," o my god, its a monster". I couldnt see it because i was on my knees fighting it. He lips it and pulls it out.  6.6 pound bass. Kept it in a bucket till my grandfather came with a big container. Got it back to my house in 1 peice, alive and well. Now its sitting in the big boat live well with aerators in it. Going to get it weighed for a pin, and released tommorrow. Only flag there for the 3 hours we were there. I am not going to give ANY info on this lake

When you start hitting the 24" mark and bust the 6lb mark, you can officially call it a "Hawg". 'Bass' are what they call the small ones!  ;)

It was 6.6 pounds. If my math is right, that is 6 oz' over 6 pounds  ;D

can you keep bass in MA during the icefishing season?  In NY you can catch them but cant keep them...just wondering

Pond is in SE massachusetts.
Fish was released today, after a 45 minute ride to the cape and back! Big boat live wells come in handy. It splashed me as it swam away.
