Red ear and will crossbreed too.  I don't see the green sunfish in these pictures, but very defined she'll cracker lips.  I'll ask some professional debaters what they think

Another vote for a hybrid. Sunfish and gill looks like to me. Used to catch them all the time in southwest Michigan before I enlisted.
