Title: Almost ice fishing - Big brown trout

my biggest brown, caught a few weeks ago on a lake ontario trib.  30" 12.5 lbs.

All stove up from spawning, did he still fight good?
Thats a nice heavy fish!

beleive it or not, the fish still had plenty of milt, he was just pretty rough - he fought me surprisingly well, taking me well into my backing with a 6lb leader, and taking me downstream a few hundred yards - unfortunatlly he was a little to rough to have mounted - most of the fish we were catching looked like this gem that my buddy caught\
