Anyone been out this week?  I was hoping to hit something around Shrewsbury area or maybe Rutland State Park.

Ice reports?

Can't speak for that area specifically but I live in south central ma and took a drive to check conditions this morning. Every body of water I drove by had fisherman on it. Even the larger lakes. I'm very confident that you'll find plenty of ice up there . But please check as you go and don't take my word for it (or anyone elses). Also, get an early start. I drove by places today that had no parking spots left and it's a weekday.

Ice was a bit sketchy around here (Rutland) this morning. First spot started with 4 inches and was down to almost 2 before we turned around and went somewhere else. Snow is hurting ice production up here but it’s very random. After that first spot this morning we went to another pond that was 100% snow covered but had 4 inches everywhere. I guess the moral of the story is to go slow and check ice thickness as you go
