Should be great......heard there is another special attraction ......They are going to drill a big hole over the 300ft spot and let last year "cheater" bob for sounders......

i'm not impressed with the prizes seems like there getting less each year. check out the prizes for the lake winnapasaukee derby those are some prizes. they give alot more cash prizes and more prizes overall. what do you guys think. i know the prizes are not that bad. where's the ice shack.

The prizes do seem to be trending downward. Still a heck of a lot better then the moosehead derby prizes though. Those were lame compared to the cost to enter. I wonder how much money they banked on that one.

Im headed up from here in Ny with a crew to fish the Derby. Were meeting up with a bunch of you Mainiacs that live by my uncle and a couple of guys from NH. Im hoping I have a great time for my first year up there. Ill be wearing my colors Id like to meet some of ya Maine boys.

It looks like the big prizes took a big hit this year. First place went from a boat, motor and trailer to an 8000 dollar snowmobile. Second is a 42 inch TV.

I believe they are limited in the amount of dollars in prizes they can give out. I think the prizes are awesome.....considerin g you can get the big skunko for 2 days and still win a brand new truck!!!!!!!
