The dates for this years outing will be from Wed march 9Th to Sat. the 12Th leaving on Sunday.

Special pricing for this year (thanks Bob) FOR PEOPLE STAYING 3 NIGHTS THE FORTH NIGHT IS GOING TO BE FREE.

This is going to be a 4 night trip..
(you don't have to go all 4 night )I only have the house resv.. for this year. The house Accommodates up to 12. If we get enough people I will try to resv a cabin as well. The price is going to be 35.00 a night per person. Iam going to start taking dep anytime. It is going to set up like years past first come first serve .(when I rec the dep) any Ice Shanty member is welcome and their guest. Ice Shanty members from other states are welcome to join us as well , you can send me your dep to.

CHECK IN TIME IS 3;OOPM I will talk to bob on sunday to see if we can get into the house any earlier . if you get there early on wed you can park at the boat launch and fish from their. It has a large parking lot

Bob has done a lot of work this summer on the house. He has redone both bathrooms with a shower down stairs now (their goes our bait tank lol) he has also done some work on the kitchen. the entrance way has change as well it is now a 14x16 ft, room.

Bob has asked that if you can please bring sleeping bags but bedding will be supplied

This is also the week of the Rockwood fishing derby It goes for the whole week that we are their. on sat. night they have a dinner and give out the prizes and awards.
When I get more info on the derby I will post it

I have fished that Rockwood week long Derby the last handful of years or so and attend the banquet on Saturday night as well. The Banquet is always comical. The group Im with we will usually fish at least Thur, Fri, and Sat that week. As the time gets closer maybe the groups can meet up. There is usually about a dozen of us. Always a good time.

With the big pond being closer now and a means of transporting myself, I may come up for a day trip. Would love to stay but the wifen may not like that.

If that's the case I have a couple buddy's too that would probably be interested we where supposed to make a trip last year but I ended up having to go in for surgery I'll talk to them and send you a pm once I figure that out
