Please vote for Christina 1st HS Adaptive skier in maine.... watch the video and vote at the end of it.

Some of you who know me know that i coach nordic skiing in the winters in addition to my regular job. This winter i had the opportunity to work with a young girl who was born with out a leg. She approached me in the fall and said she wanted to ski. My response was no problem lets make it happen. This winter she has ripped up the trail and amazed all HS skiers who got to watch her ski with only her upper body. Never once did she complain about anything. She is now in the running for a national award but she needs your help to vote for her. Please take the time to check out the link and vote for her. Great job on making it all happen for her. The video should be an inspiration to us all. When you want to design and build another sit ski you know you can count on me and my resources.

Thanks for sharing this post She is an inspiration to all us. Adversity builds character and from the look of determination and desire in the video I am sure she is a character She has my vote. Even if she does not win this award she is a winner in my eyes

I had that problem the first time, just view it again and you will be able to vote as soon as it starts running I believe.

thanks a TON guys. this means the world to me and this wonderful athelete. It is so great to see you all help out. our hope is that in the future any HS skier in maine who wants to nordic ski can do so. we are working on building enough sit skis to outfit anyone and everyone that wants to try it out.
