This may be a very stupid question, but no one has ever been able to give me an answer so I figured I'd give it a shot. Does anyone know if it's illegal to ice fish a fly fishing only pond? It even sounds like a ridiculous question as I type it!

Which direction do I wind my line on my tip up? Any info would be great, oh and please give me your GPS coordinates to that prime brookie hole

Hey......... I once bought a new tip up different than the ones I was using. It wound the opposite way of my other ones. Without thinking I wound the line on there the wrong way.

Set it out next week. Wouldn't you know that was the one I got a bite on. Was wondering why it was bouncing all over the place.......... yeah, those things don't tend to work real well when the spool pegs instead of unwinds............

happend to me last week wound it the wrong way in a rush to get trap back in to get to another flag ended up catching 5 bass on that tip up flag went up after problem was fixed lol
