You can find all regulations here.   http://www.maine.gov/ifw/laws_rules/fishing/fishing.htm

To answer your questions, you are allowed 6 togue from Sebago.  The general law is that the minimum length is 14", and you can only keep one over 23", though I don't know if the 1 over 23" rule applies for the derby or not.  It is illegal to keep any salmon or any other kinds of trout.

Last year I checked my 27" Togue in early and the lady reminded me that I cant check in anything bigger for the day no matter what as I had gone over the one 23" fish per day limit. So yes for the derby that rule applies.

Because I can't find my law book, I need a couple questions answered PLEASE.

First whats the minimum length for Togue ??

Second, is it legal or illegal to keep salmon from Sebago? And size limit ?

Don't want to break any laws :-\ .....Not that I'll catch any ;D
                                                                  Thanks, Brenda

It is illegal to keep salmon through the ice in sebago. As for the togue. this is the S-code

S-27: Daily bag limit on togue: 6 fish; minimum length limit: 14 inches, only 1 may
exceed 23 inches.

Yes, at the end of Quest Ave. (Jordans Store is at Sebago Rd. & Quest Ave.) you can drive out onto the beach/ice.  Drove my truck there yesterday to unload.  Minimal parking across from Jordans and at the end of Quest (behind Jordans).  Some may be able to park on the ice.  The town DPW/School lot and Beach/Boat launch on Shore Road/Marina Rd. also has some parking.

Talked to Tom last night, and he said as long as you registered, just have your ID with you when you bring fish in and you'll be all set!

Not quite right Tiny.

Tom said that the preferred way is for you to print out your last page of the 'order' or register process before you close that page. That's quickest for him and the judges.

The photo ID was for people who did not realize this, such as the one customer who did his registration at Dag's store on their computer and Dylan (?) forgot to print out the last page of the process.. By the way, I relayed Tom's info as requested and Dylan immediately called the customer, who was elated at the news..

Was out on the lake all day today in the storm Lots of wet heavy snow. Came in around 2:30pm in a complete white thank god forthe gps. You guys on sleds with no picks watch your rpms when running lots of bare ice out there yesterday none today. I dont have picks and was slipping along. Guys with picks should be fine. Wheelers with chains worked this afternoon We had about a foot of snow. I leave that decision up to you  Good Luck this weekend
