I have been all over doing snow removal.... Grand Blanc Flint Burton and Davison seem to have gotten around 8-12..... Home in birch run had at least 10 when I left home at 10 pm so I'm guessing 12+ there

Checked a few spots around here, same little ice with 4” snow hiding everything !! Yikes !!!

got about 8" in Rockford. Luckily the lake only has a dusting on it.

We have about 6-8" on the ground. Mona lake froze over in about 70% of the lake - areas not frozen were hit by wind. Unfortunately as some have mentioned, the 4" of snow yesterday will delay ice from expanding very fast, and with 32 -36 this weekend will also slow process. I did not walk down to check ice - know not enough ice for me yet.

If the weatherman is right, all that snow might just end up protecting what ice we do have, during the warmup/rain we have forecasted for the upcoming late weekend/early week.

Holland MI 9+ it pushed ice under on the lake I fish hope it locks back up.

We got 8". A good majority of it is sitting on top of a lake that had just locked up the morning of the storm. Not cool

Amen.... I have a love hate for the snow.... Snow means money.... But it makes for crappy ice forming.... I wanna fish.... But I can't fish broke.... Lol I was hoping for bitter cold for a few days BEFORE snow.... Not after

Well here's what 8 inches of snow turned into on less than an inch of ice... Better than just sitting on top insulating it...

I looked at our lake today. A lot of wet spots all over the lake. There was a  lot of open spots a week or so ago. it will be a long time before I hit the lake.
