I was out on Dog last week also.  I didn't venture out on the main lake but the back bays had 2.5 of black ice and 1" of white ice.  I couldn't find any crappie though...

I went out on the shipyards around Gilmour Point.....this was 3.5 of black so it should be pretty solid, should add another inch once yesterdays rain freezes up
