Title: Suggestions on NH lakes/ponds to fish this winter
Post by: Hennyhog on Sep 12, 2017, 02:42 PM
Hello All,
My wife and I want to plan a 3-4 day getaway this winter up in NH to fish. We are from central MA and love our local ponds but they don't freeze early enough, nor keep ice come end of March. Having said that we LOVE renting houses on lakes up in NH with our kids during the summer and would like to do the same...in the winter to just fish.

I'm not asking for folks to give out there favorite spots (I know how Shanty works down here in MA) but more your suggestions on what bodies of water should be looking to rent a house on. We are primarily Bass fishing people but wouldn't mind hooking into a pike or two. Also we'd like our travel no further north than say Gorham if that helps.

Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Henny

You might have better luck posting this on New Hamshire board closer to the season...November.

Here's one,,,,,,,,,,,contact the state fisheries biologist and find his poison, give him lots and he will bless you with the ability to think like a fish.
