Ultra clear ice

found the most clear ice i have ever seen here in upstate ny

6.5"


there is my scoop sinking (its about 10 feet down) - my stupid friend lost his grip


a big pumpkinseed swims away


yes, we did catch fish

We were on duane lake in duanesburgh, ny

camo fish, i dont like metal scoops, i usually icefish without gloves and metal scoops suck on bare hands, and also sometimes i use my 4" auger instead of the six, and i dont own a metal scoop that small.

 I saw ice like that on LG a couple of years ago at first ice, its kinda cool seeing the fish come up from way down. Way to go on that fish too, its pretty good sized.

I agree, There is nothing like watching a fish come up the last 20' through the ice on Lake George.
