Big ol slab

Dad caught this one last Friday in NYS.  18 7/8" and 3.53 lbs...just short of a state record, dern it.  :-\

btw, I hate computers...  i can see them but you guys can't..  maybe becuz I went through yahoo?  I [tried it this time with sharemation..   if it worked th elittle one you see is a 10"er

that looks like a bass and the small one looks only 4 inches compared to that big one

it was a heck of a story too..  he got it up to the hole...4lb test...  the line broke when he was trrying to lift it out of the hole!  :o :o    he stuck his boot down the hole and the water forced the fish up and out! 
He took it to the local DEC office to have them do their thing..  they took some scales and will age it..  the DEC guy said he's thinking it somewhere between 12-15 years old..  I'll let you know when we find out..

i take my last post back i can now see the crappies and i fell over in my chair. great fish in any ones book considering i couldn't cath a crappie like that in my life ;D
