Was up there Jan 26th/27th.  There was about a foot of snow and the ice was 2 feet.  As for fishing, we caught a couple burbot and 9 pike.

I was there today, I have an Ion X with an extension and when I broke through the ice, the top of the flight was at ice level.  So I would recommend getting an extension.  As for the snow, you will definitely need 4x4 to get around.  Looks like the top layer crusted over and has blown pretty decent.  Any more snow and it will be fun getting the shacks off!

Really, ok thanks. I usually walk out from cabin anyway or snowmobile if the fn thing is running. I may take a rip to grassey and check it out some day this week too, I'll report how the fishing is. Maybe I'll finally find the dam walleye this year haha.

I used the sled, seen a few guys driving on, not sure where they were getting on, resort village? Anyway tipups were busy nothing big the usual size, lots of walleye on camera got a few, very lite biting. Seen alot of perch also probably fingerling size, good to see those coming more and more. Will be going back in a week or so!

Was up there on Saturday/Sunday.  Fished near Echo bay.  Only caught one small pike.  Had to walk on, still lots of snow on the ice which will make getting shacks off very interesting this week.
