Fished the home pond this afternoon when the Lord decided to bless me big-time! No scale, but it measured 18.25". That should put it close to 3.5#. The drag was singing all the high notes for a few minutes.
Ended up with 25 crappie and 11 perch. The Smallie and a 13" crappie were released for another day.

Nice ! Was a beautiful day to be on the ice yesterday.

Lucky you. All I could do yesterday was look at Ice fishermen from my vehicle as I drove by them coming home from a trip. Nice catch by the way.

Fish like this are the fruits of our 5-year-old pond and the stocking plan that Herman Brothers developed for us! A huge thank you to Nate, who kept telling us to stick to the plan!!!

Awesome! Congrats on the PB.
Put my wife on her first ice fish and first trout yesterday at the Giant Good Ranch with Nate. Dude know what he's doing when it comes to managing bodies of water and putting people on fish!

Fished again last night. No Smallmouth, but the crappie were somewhat cooperative. My brother caught a jumbo perch.
6" of ice, starting to honeycomb.
