My Jack Traps are 25 years old. They were my dads now I use them. Got some new parts to update them but they are good traps.

Sorry guys, I have a set of traps that were made by a friend^^^ that are better than the Jack traps. JC made them for me. Not one wind flag and no problems at all with them.

Swirusek , Allagash tip ups are excellent tipups that you will enjoy for years to come. If you are looking for specific info on them shoot a PM to fshnfool (http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?action=profile;u=16732) he bought a new set last year and he loves them!

The Allagash traps are awesome ice fishing traps. I bought both of my sons a set of them last year. I got them at Burnies in Lewiston, Maine and I know that the Kittery Trading Post has carried them. I wish that I had them for myself, I have Jacktraps. The Jacks are nice, but you are paying for the finish whereas the Allagash you are paying for the features.

cant go wrong there eh? Although i have to say, allagash tip ups kinda look like a more expensive version of 40 ups, ive got green ones and love them, they are easy to see..and theyre really tall.
