Funny how people with the most "engine" problems are the first to say they adjusted something.
Fresh fuel, premium oil, proper maintenance and storage as per the manufacturer recommendation.

If it fails after that you have a legitimate beef.

my honda lite starts like a champ no issues here

Do you know if your Honda lite will drill threw previously drilled holes that are froze up? I hope so.

I have one of the old Jiffys (1997), had a rebuilt carb put on about 5 years ago, and it is still running good. Not to impressed with any of the gas augers out there now, so going to try one of the ION's when the Jiffy dies.

So I bought a jiffy spent close to 500$ on it and when all was said and done it lasted about a year and a half before it destroyed its self. So I'm done with crap and am willing to spend the money on something good. What is the BEST QUALITY ice auger? And please no brand bashing.

NilsMaster (Tanaka power head).  I think the power head has a 7 year warranty?
